This day is suitable for student and qualified counsellors, supervisors, ministers and church leaders, pastoral and youth workers, teachers and teaching assistants.

This workshop will offer a safe and confidential space to explore and learn about the subject of shame and will give you the opportunity to build resilience against this powerful emotion.  Karen will cover recognising shame and when we are in it, together with the associated behaviours, emotions and thoughts.  Shame can keep us silent and disconnected so we will explore where we are hiding and 'armouring up' and find those 'Shame Shields' that keep us in that place of silence and disconnection.  This day will give you the opportunity to work individually and together, will help you better support the people you work with and care for and will offer a time for personal development and growth.

This training is face-to-face.
